Shining Mountain Waldorf School Summer Camps will open to the public on 2/21. Please check back then when the registration links are activated.

Serving children from preschool through 5th grade, Shining Mountain’s Summer Camps offer wholesome summer-time fun for your child, grounded in Waldorf philosophy and values.

Circus camps are available for rising 1st through 8th graders at beginner and advanced levels.  To contact Ariana Papousek, the Circus Director email apapousek@smwaldorf.org

Bluebell Preschool Camp

Come with us to experience summer through playful, creative, and purposeful activity, crafting and exploring the beauty of the natural world that surrounds our campus. Experience the wonder of Waldorf Early Childhood Education in a summer setting.

Summer Glen Camp

Come with us to greet the summer day, playing with friends, singing, digging, splashing, baking and hearing stories. We’ll enter the joy of summer through playful, creative and purposeful activity, crafting and exploring the beauty of the natural world that surrounds our lovely campus. Experience the wonder of Waldorf Early Childhood Education in a summer setting. All children in Summer Glen must be fully toilet-trained.

Handwork Camp

Make table puppets, stuffed animals, and other creations in this crafty, fun-filled camp. Children will also enjoy outdoor play and splash-time in the creek during our breaks from handwork.

Rising 1st – 5th Graders

Aftercare Camp

Please bring sturdy outdoor shoes, sun protection (sun hats, sunscreen, or long-sleeve shirts), a bathing suit, towel, water bottle, and your child’s lunch. A minimum number of campers is needed for aftercare.

12:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Aftercare will be available Monday-Friday for children attending any of our Summer Glen or Handwork camps.

Coed Cross Country

Athletic camps are designed to teach the fundamentals of each sport, increase endurance, encourage teamwork and offer summer fun with friends.
